By booking with DK Detailing, your accept the terms and policies outlined below

Payment Terms for Vehicle Detailing Services

  • Payment Due Date: Payment is due in full upon receipt of the invoice unless a prior agreement has been made.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer.
  • Late Payments: Failure to make payment upon receipt of the invoice may result in late fees or additional charges. This will be implemented after 7 days of the date of the invoice. Late payment will incur a £50 fee on top of original invoice amount per invoice.
  • Non-Payment: In cases of non-payment, we reserve the right to take necessary actions, including legal proceedings, to recover the outstanding amount.
  • Disputed Charges: Any disputes regarding the invoice must be raised upon receipt of receipt; otherwise, the invoice will be considered accepted.
  • Deposit: Anything service over £100 will require a deposit to be paid in order for the booking to be confirmed. This will be 50% of the quote. This deposit will be non-refundable, unless the service is cancelled by DK Detailing.
  • By requesting and receiving our services, the customer agrees to these payment terms.
  • All terms are at the discretion of DK Detailing

Cancellation policy

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you provide a minimum of 5 working days’ notice.
  • Cancellation needs to be in writing, either by text message/WhatsApp to 07870 405253 or emailed to [email protected]
  • If insufficient notice is given, a £20 cancellation fee will be incurred.
  • We accept that emergencies arise; this cancellation fee will be at the discretion of DK Detailing.
  • Failure to have the vehicle at the correct location at the agreed upon time will be classed as a no show, and will be charged at the full price of the quoted service.
  • All terms are at the discretion of DK Detailing

Vehicle accessibility

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is available at the agreed upon time and at the agreed upon location. Failure to do so will not be the responsibility of DK Detailing.
  • DK Detailing requires a safe working area. This ideally would be, for example, on a driveway or a quiet road, where our vehicle will not become an obstruction.
  • If the vehicle booked is not in a safe working area, DK Detailing reserves the right to ask the customer to relocate the vehicle to a better location of choice, to be decided by DK Detailing.
  • Keys to the vehicle must be presented to DK Detailing on arrival. This will be held by DK Detailing for the duration of the service; this is mostly to provide the ability to move the vehicle if deemed necessary. These will be returned upon confirmation of work satisfaction.
  • Failure to comply with these terms will result in a cancellation and fees will be incurred. Please see our Cancellation policy.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to remove any and all personal belongings from the vehicle prior to the service being carried out. We do not hold responsibility for any lost or damaged personal belongings left in the vehicle.
  • Prior to booking, the client is required to send current images/videos of the vehicle to be serviced. Failure to provide accurate information may incur a different service than originally quoted. DK Detailing reserves the right to adjust quotes upon visual inspection of the vehicle. These quotes will be discussed with the client prior to work being carried out. If the client is unhappy with the secondary quote provided, this will be classed as a no show (see Cancellation Policy point 5)
  • All terms are at the discretion of DK Detailing

GDPR policy

  • Photos and/or videos may be taken of your vehicle before and after the booked services are carried out for advertisement purposes.
  • All identifying features of the vehicle and surrounding areas will either be obscured physically or digitally to protect your identity and privacy
  • All media will be available for viewing upon request.
  • If at any point you would like your vehicle removed from our social media/websites etc, you have the right to request this in writing, at which point DK Detailing will strive to comply as soon as possible.
  • DK Detailing will only hold current personal data for the minimum term required. Please be reassured that any and all data is kept securely and not shared with any third parties or organizations.
  • If any requests for personal data are made i.e. telephone numbers or email addresses, DK Detailing will always seek permission before doing so, and non-compliance will be adhered to
  • All terms are at the discretion of DK Detailing

Behaviour policy

  • DK Detailing does not tolerate any abuse, physical or verbal, towards your detailer or any of our associates
  • DK Detailing reserves the right to cancel or suspend any and all services if our staff feel threatened at any point during our visit. The full charge of the service will be required immediately.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any service or booking without explanation.
  • DK Detailing will always strive to be courteous to clients at all times, before, during and after services are to be carried out
  • All terms are at the discretion of DK Detailing

Complaints policy

  • If the client feels that DK Detailing has not provided an adequate service or has behaved in an unacceptable manner, the client has the right to make a formal complaint. This should be submitted in writing to [email protected]
  • Any complaint made to DK Detailing will be acknowledged and addressed with 14 days.
  • Complaints need to be made at the clients earliest convenience
